ABOUT THIS CATEGORY

What these calculators cover

These tools apply named, published rules: the FBR salaried slabs for tax year 2027, the federal 7/300 pension formula, Standing Orders gratuity, the General Provident Fund rules and the benevolent fund slabs. Each page states the rule, its year and its source so you can check it against your own notification or payslip.

Rules change with each budget and each pay revision. Treat a result as a check on the arithmetic, then confirm the figure with your accounts office, employer or tax adviser before you rely on it for a filing or a retirement decision.

A quick comparison
01

Pakistan Salary Tax applies the FBR tax-year 2027 salaried-person annual slabs to a visitor-provided taxable salary. It shows annual tax and a monthly equivalent, not all payslip deductions or a personal filing result.

02

Hourly to Salary projects gross annual pay from paid hours and weeks without tax or overtime rules. Use it when you know a wage rate; use Pakistan Salary Tax when you already know taxable salary.

03

Age / Service finds the superannuation date, the day before the birthday at the retirement age, and counts service with the six-month rule used for pension years. Pension then applies the federal 7/300 formula to 24-month average emoluments and splits commutation from net pension; below 10 years it shows the service gratuity instead.

04

Gratuity covers private-sector Standing Orders by province, short federal service and India's Code on Social Security, each with its own per-year amount and part-year rule. GP Fund projects a federal General Provident Fund balance from the 2026 subscription table and Rule 14 interest, while Benevolent Fund looks up the federal or Punjab benevolent and group insurance slabs.

Each tool shows its formula, a worked example and the limits of its result. Read our calculation methodology for the shared rules.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Salary & Pension questions

01Which tax year does Pakistan Salary Tax use?

Tax year 2027, which runs from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027, using the FBR salaried-person slabs. Enter annual taxable salary or a monthly figure as the form asks.

02Why might my payslip deduction differ from the monthly tax shown?

Employers spread annual tax across the remaining months, adjust for bonuses and allowances, and may apply credits or exemptions. The calculator shows the annual slab tax divided by twelve.

03In what order should I use the service and pension tools?

Find qualifying service and the superannuation date with Age / Service first. Then enter the service years and average emoluments in Pension to see gross pension, commutation and net pension.

04Do these tools cover provincial or private pension schemes?

Only where a page says so. Gratuity covers private-sector Standing Orders by province, and Benevolent Fund includes federal and Punjab slabs. Other schemes need their own rules.
