IslamicWhat these calculators cover
Zakat, Fitrana and Ushr each have a fixed arithmetic core: 2.5% of zakatable wealth above nisab, a per-person Sadaqat-ul-Fitr amount, and one-tenth or one-twentieth of a harvest. Scholars differ on the details around that core, such as which nisab to use, how to value jewellery, or which debts to deduct.
These calculators make those choices visible as inputs instead of hiding them. Enter the values and the method your scholar or local body follows, and the result shows each step so you can check it.
Which tool fits your question?
Zakat Estimate uses asset and debt values, a nisab threshold and an anniversary choice supplied by the visitor. Its 2.5% arithmetic is conditional and does not decide religious eligibility or fetch metal prices.
Fitrana multiplies one person's Sadaqat-ul-Fitr, from the Council of Islamic Ideology's 2026 amounts, another announced amount or your own food price, by everyone you pay for. Ushr instead takes one-tenth or one-twentieth of a harvest depending on how the land was watered, with an optional minimum quantity.
Each tool shows its formula, a worked example and the limits of its result. Read our calculation methodology for the shared rules.

Islamic questions
01Should I use the gold or silver nisab?
That is a religious question for your scholar. The silver threshold is lower, so more people meet it. Zakat Estimate lets you enter either threshold and shows whether your net wealth reaches it.
02Does Zakat Estimate fetch today's gold price?
No. Enter the current per-gram or per-tola price from a market rate you trust. Gold and silver prices change daily, and a stale price changes the nisab value.
03Is Fitrana paid for every family member?
Fitrana is usually paid for each person you are responsible for, including children. Fitrana multiplies the chosen per-person amount by the number of people you enter.
