EducationWhat these calculators cover
Grading policies vary by school, board and university, so these tools use the scale and weights you enter instead of assuming one. GPA works with grade points and credit hours. Weighted Grade works with assessment percentages and course weights, and Marks Percentage works with obtained and total marks.
Choose by what is on your transcript or syllabus. Credits and grade points belong in GPA. A syllabus that lists assignment weights belongs in Weighted Grade, which can also solve the score needed on remaining work.
Which tool fits your question?
GPA starts with individual course letters and credits, using the labelled example 4.0 point table on its page. P, NP, I and W are excluded, while F contributes zero points and keeps its credits. Check your institution's own table before treating the estimate as official.
CGPA combines semester GPAs that have already been calculated, weighting each term by its GPA-bearing credit hours. Use GPA for course rows and CGPA when you have term totals on the same scale.
Grade solves a target score from weighted assessments within one course. Marks Percentage divides obtained by possible marks. Neither turns an institution-specific transcript GPA into a course percentage.
Each tool shows its formula, a worked example and the limits of its result. Read our calculation methodology for the shared rules.

Education questions
01Can I convert my percentage into GPA here?
Not automatically. Conversion tables differ between institutions. Look up your institution's table, then enter the grade points into GPA Calculator.
02What does it mean if the required final score is above 100%?
The target cannot be reached with the remaining weight unless extra credit is available. Weighted Grade shows the required score so you can adjust the target.
03Do board exams in Pakistan use Marks Percentage?
Marks Percentage divides obtained marks by total marks and multiplies by 100, which matches how a percentage is shown on most mark sheets. Grade boundaries still come from your board.
