Writing & CreatorWhat these calculators cover
These utilities work on text or numbers you supply and run in your browser. The word counter, password generator, nickname generator and QR code generator do not send your text to a calculation server.
Creator estimates use your own figures. YouTube Income multiplies views by the RPM you enter rather than assuming a typical payout, because RPM varies widely by audience, topic and season.
Which tool fits your question?
Word Counter is a small utility within the calculator workspace. Paste a draft to see word and Unicode character counts, a word-length breakdown and a reading-time estimate. The text is processed in your browser and is not sent to a calculation server.
Word boundaries vary among languages and publishing tools. This tool keeps internal apostrophes and hyphens within a word and counts Unicode code points for characters. Check the destination platform's rules if you must meet a strict submission limit.
YouTube Income uses a creator-supplied RPM and the matching Video or Shorts view metric for a fixed-rate scenario, never an invented typical payout. It does not connect to a channel or predict actual earnings.
Name to Nickname Generator makes mechanical short forms and initials from text entered in the browser. It does not infer pronunciation or culturally preferred names; each card states the transformation used.
Password Generator creates a secret on request from browser Web Crypto, then shuffles characters from visitor-selected groups. It does not publish a usable password in its static example or store results on a calculation server.
Typing Speed converts a typing test's characters, uncorrected errors and time into gross and net words per minute using the five-character word, unlike Word Counter, which counts real words in a draft.
QR Code Generator turns visitor-entered text into an on-demand local SVG. It does not validate or fetch a URL that happens to be encoded, and QR image availability depends on the scanner and final display size.
Each tool shows its formula, a worked example and the limits of its result. Read our calculation methodology for the shared rules.
Writing & Creator questions
01Is my text or password sent anywhere?
No. Word Counter, Password Generator, Nickname Generator and QR Code Generator process input in the browser without sending it to a calculation server.
02Why might my word count differ from my word processor's?
Tools split words differently around hyphens, apostrophes, numbers and non-Latin scripts. Word Counter keeps internal hyphens and apostrophes within a word and explains its rule on the page.
03How is net typing speed different from gross speed?
Gross speed counts all typed characters as five-character words per minute. Net speed subtracts uncorrected errors, so it is the figure most typing tests report.
