Last updated . This policy explains what information Calculation Guide and its service providers handle when you use a calculator, read an article or contact us, and the choices you have.
Calculator entries and results
Calculator entries are processed by code running in your browser. Calculation Guide does not send entered dates, salaries, financial figures, measurements or pasted text to a calculation server, and it does not save them in an account. Form values and results stay in page memory; reloading or leaving the page clears them. Calculation Guide does not intentionally include calculator field values in advertising or analytics events.
You can use the example values without entering your own information. Avoid putting confidential information in a calculator or an email if a simple sample will answer your question.
Advertising and Google AdSense
Calculation Guide intends to use Google AdSense to support the site. AdSense code is currently inactive. The disclosures below describe the planned advertising setup and apply when it is activated.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, enables it and its partners to serve ads to visitors based on their visits to Calculation Guide and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices or, in the EEA and UK, youronlinechoices.eu.
- Google explains how it uses information from sites that show its ads in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- Other ad technology partners may participate when enabled in AdSense. Google's ad technology partner list identifies eligible providers and links to their data-use information. The active partners for eligible visitors are identified in the European consent message.
Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your consent and location. Non-personalized ads still use cookies or similar technologies for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention. Ad networks may receive your IP address, device and browser information, the page URL and cookie identifiers. Advertisers do not influence calculations, results or editorial content.
Consent choices
Google Analytics and SitePulse live analytics are optional for every visitor. Neither tracker loads until you choose Allow analytics in our notice. If you decline, both trackers stay blocked. Your choice is saved in browser storage; use Privacy & cookie choices in the footer to change or withdraw it. Withdrawing stops future events from both trackers, clears pending SitePulse events and removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies. An earlier Google-only approval does not enable SitePulse: visitors must approve the updated notice.
With analytics allowed, SitePulse also records successful calculator use, example and comparison actions, password copy and QR download actions. Only the fixed tool identifier and action label are included; entered values and results are never attached.
Advertising remains inactive. Before ads are enabled for eligible visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, we will publish a Google-certified advertising consent message.
Analytics
Calculation Guide uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and understand which tools and articles are useful after analytics consent is given. It may set first-party cookies such as _ga and receives technical information such as page URL, device and browser details. We do not add calculator entries to Analytics events. Automatic form interaction measurement should remain disabled in the Google Analytics stream. You can withdraw consent using the footer link or use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Our SitePulse dashboard at sitepulse.calculationguide.com separately receives page paths, event timestamps, the referring hostname and a randomly generated session ID after you allow analytics. It records page views, session starts, page visibility and periodic heartbeats while the page is visible. The session ID lives in page memory, expires after 30 minutes and is not stored in cookies or browser storage. URL query strings, fragments, calculator inputs and results are not sent by this tracker. SitePulse does not store IP addresses or full referrer URLs in its analytics events, though hosting infrastructure processes network requests. Raw events are retained for up to 30 days and aggregated counts for up to 365 days. You can stop future collection using Privacy & cookie choices in the footer. SitePulse figures are independent of Google Analytics and may differ.
Google Search Console may be used to see how pages appear in Google search results. It reports aggregated search data to the site owner and does not add code that tracks visitors on this site.
Cookies and browser storage
Calculation Guide stores an optional theme preference, calculation-guide-theme, and, when standalone Analytics is offered, your choice in calculation-guide-analytics-consent-v2. These browser storage values contain no calculator entries. Advertising, consent and analytics cookies set by Google are listed in the Cookie Policy, with how to control them.
Hosting and outside services
Calculation Guide is hosted on Hostinger. Requests to calculationguide.com reach Hostinger and its CDN, which may process technical data such as your IP address, request details and device or browser information to deliver and protect the site. Hostinger describes its handling in its Privacy Policy. Requests to the former calcora-xi.vercel.app address are redirected to this site by Vercel, which may process the request data described in its Privacy Notice.
On the Currency Converter, the optional Fill latest reference rate button requests a daily rate from ExchangeRate-API only when you press it. That request names the selected source currency and carries normal browser information, but not your amount. On the Gold Jewellery Quote Checker, Fill indicative gold spot rate requests an XAU/USD quote from Gold API; for non-USD currencies, it also requests a daily USD rate from ExchangeRate-API. These requests do not include your gold weight, making charge or tax percentage. The external services receive normal browser request information, such as your IP address. Opening a source link contacts the linked website, which handles information under its own policy.
Email enquiries
If you email naveedqadir8149@gmail.com, your message, address and any details you include are used to reply or investigate a correction. Email providers on both sides handle the message under their own terms. We do not publish your message without asking you, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Please do not send passwords, account numbers or full medical or tax records.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of some US states may opt out of targeted advertising. Calculation Guide does not sell personal information for money. To make a request about information Calculation Guide holds, such as an email you sent, write to naveedqadir8149@gmail.com. For data held by Google, use your Google account privacy controls or the links above.
Children
Calculation Guide is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
